The Queensway Athletic Department is committed to seeing our students grow to be more like Christ in the area of athletics. Our school mascot is the Saint and what better reminder is there for our student athletes that we are Christ’s ambassadors and representatives wherever we are, whatever we are doing. Colossians 3:17 tells us, “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” At Queensway we desire to show Christ to our teammates, the crowd, the referees, the other team, our coaches and whoever God places in our path. The Athletic Department’s key verse is I Timothy 4:8, “For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.” The staff is thankful for all that God is doing in the hearts and lives of our athletes.

At Queensway, our Elementary School student-athletes have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of sports at a highly competitive level. As a charter member of the Private School Athletic Association (PSAA) our student athletes play in leagues and tournaments against other private schools from nearby cities. Private schools from Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga and Etobicoke are all represented in our league. Queensway Christian College generally fields teams from grades five through eight. During most months of the school year a different sport team is offered. Depending on student enrollment and interest, each of these teams are made available every year.

As well, our intramural program runs as a regularly scheduled class each week and thus, allows every student to participate on a team. We feel that placing a high importance on intramurals helps build our community at QCC and is a valuable part of our school life and family. Each year we run intramural tournaments in:
