Parent Involvement
The key phrase that encompasses all of parent involvement is “Building Community”. It is ensuring that people are being connected at QCC and thereby finding a place in which each one can be involved. Not many desire to lead, but everyone can help. Parent volunteers are active in a wide range of activities, from helping drive students to their community service placement, to coaching a team, to hosting admissions info sessions and running the Hot Lunch program.
Whether it's at one of our Annual Retreats, in the classroom helping judge public speaking competitions and science fairs, or cheering on their son or daughter's team, QCC parents are its greatest supporters, and make lasting friendships with each other. We seek active involvement of parents in the life of the school at Queensway. There are many roles that a parent can fill in assisting teachers and staff in providing an excellent educational experience for children.
Some of these are:
- Prayer team
- Family Activity Nights
- Coaches
- Teacher’s assistants
- Judging at events
- Chaperones on school trips and outdoor education trips

The purpose of the Development Department is to support and enhance the financial needs at Queensway Christian College through annual giving and fundraising events, and to encourage a spirit of service in keeping with our motto, “Academics, Extra-curriculars, Christian Service and Leadership.” QCC would not be successful without the volunteers that support us in our mission.
